Tell Apogee what happened.
It files the record.

Add a contact, log a meeting, or ask who is already known on a bill, all in plain language, in the same chat where the research happens.

The scattered relationship problem

The notes from three meetings ago are the ones needed right now.

A government affairs team covering one bill talks to dozens of offices before a vote. Some conversations are a first meeting, some are a fifth. Each one carries a position, a commitment, or the name of someone else to call next.

Most of that lives in an inbox, a shared spreadsheet, or one person's memory, separate from wherever the bill itself is tracked. By the time a vote is close, reconstructing who said what takes longer than it should.

People keeps the relationship record next to the bill record. A call logged today shows up again when that bill moves, whether that is tomorrow or next session.

How People works

1

Add and look up conversationally

Name someone and Apogee creates the record. Ask for a member or staffer by name and Apogee pulls up what it already has.

"Add Jane Doe, policy director at the Sierra Club."

"Look up Rep. Ro Khanna."

2

Enrichment grounded in the official record

When a contact has a real organization or a government email address, Apogee looks them up and fills in role, organization, committee assignments, and recent legislative activity. Sources are the official congressional and state legislative record and licensed staff data from LegiStorm, never scraped or guessed. Apogee says when it is looking, and asks before saving anything it is unsure about. A contact added from a personal email address is saved exactly as typed.

3

Log interactions and commitments

Describe what happened after a call or meeting, and Apogee attaches the note to the right person, with the date. A commitment someone made comes back later as a follow-up, so it does not get lost between meetings.

"Called Sarah about the markup, she is leaning yes."

"Met with Rep. Craig's LD Tuesday, discussed HR 5."

Your private layer

Who have we talked to on this bill?

Your whip count stands at 6 yes, 2 lean, 3 undecided, built from the calls and notes you logged.

Your whip countYour notesYour tags

Your private layer is private to your account: never shared, never aggregated, never used for anyone else.

Not a standalone address book

People runs underneath the rest of Apogee.

Whip counts

A whip count reads the network to know who is already reached and who is still within range of a target.

Chase

Chase surfaces the follow-ups owed to the people in the network, sorted by what is due first.

Briefings

Briefings flag when someone in the network is tied to new activity on a bill being followed.

People is private. Contacts, notes, and relationships stay scoped to one account. Nothing in People is shared with other users, aggregated across accounts, or used to enrich anyone else's record.
